WARREN REID
|
JASON - SUPPORTING LEAD Cassandra's boyfriend: 22, Haitian. Earthquake survivor and recent immigrant. Owner of Coachman Tours, a horse and buggy tourist service in town.
|
Warren Reid was born and raised in NYC, and is the child of two retired New York City Firefighters. Most of his schooling took place in Queens, NY but for his last two years of high school, he attended school in Kents Hill, Maine. At The Kents Hill School, Warren seriously got into theater enjoyed being a part of the school's various productions. He excelled at theatre and football, but the focal point during this time became football because it enabled him to get into the college of hischoice: La Salle University, where acting took a back seat to athletics due to the time constraints of playing competitive high level football. Theatre always stayed in his heart.
After graduation Warren moved out west and became increasingly more involved with Bay Area short films and voice overs. His initial interest in acting started at a really young age, immersing himself into anything fantasy related - from Star Wars to Conan to the Terminator. One of his favorite movies of all time is The Labyrinth staring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. On occasions we can still catch him mimicking the mannerisms of Hoggle or pretending to be the Goblin King. When people ask where he's from, his answer will always be New York City. Not because there is some special honor in it (even though there is), but because he believes that if he hadn't grown up there and had the experiences he's had, we'd be looking at a completely different person.

CATHERINE FRALEY ![]() |
BEE KEEPER & CONSULTANT
Catherine helps us stay on target, from research on bee CCD to script accuracy. You can find her at coastside farmer's markets. Don't miss tasting the lavender honey.... wonderful. Catherine also teaches back yard bee keeping. She's doing a lot to help bees survive. If you see a swarm: do not approach. Do not kill them. Call a bee professional immediately. |
Catherine Fraley is a hobbyist beekeeper in her fourth season of beekeeping and currently manages a collective of honey farmers who sell their hive products at local farmers' markets. She lives in a unique agricultural community along the Pacific coastline south of San Francisco, and has initiated a program to place bees on local farms to help improve the crop yields and sustain the local bee population. She believes that the greatest hope for bees is at the grass roots level, as hobbyist beekeepers will help to manage and maintain both feral and domestic bee colonies within our local communities. She also speaks at public venues from schools to historical societies, and agrees with other beekeepers who understand that educating children to the importance of honey bees is the most effective means of rallying public awareness and aid for the survival of these amazing creatures. |
